Goal

I was so busy this weekend.
I went to the court again because of the parking ticket.
I hate going to courts. With the studying involved, it's really hard.
The final is in 2days.
I had to come back to my house from school because I forgot to bring parking permit again!
So.. I was late to school.
I'm not being myself these days because I'm so tired and exausted.
My husband is sick also. My husband couldn't sleep for 3days straight.
My husband can't stop sneezing.
I'm always thinking, if I don't pass this semester, what am I going to do after?
That's what all the students are worried about. That is a main topic these days.
Yesterday in my dream, I saw some of my classmates.
Suddenly, I was sad because I was thinking that I won't see them anymore after this semester.
I didn't think about anything rather than ESL, but now I want to go farther.
I hope that I can accomplish my dream by passing ESL.

These Days

My family recovered a bit.
Maybe it's because of rain, the sickness went away.
Especially, my son recovered a lot.
My husband recovered also, but I think I need to wait a little more.
All the people have problems from allergy, I didn't really know their pain.
However, after I experienced the pain, I think I know what they're going through.
In South Korea, only a few people have allergies.
However, in the U.S., almost everyone suffers from allergies.

I was very nervous for a few days because of the placement test.
I had the kind of competition, but I don't think about that.
So I feel comfortable.
There are only short time left.
I will do my best for the time I have.
I hope that our classmates get the good results.

Allergy

I have been a horrible time with my family for a week.
Because of a bad headache, I can't read and can't hear and even I have sore eyes.
I can't concentrate with anything.
This situation is the first time to me and my son in the U.S.
Because of allergys, my family got the cold.
All of us can't do anything and can't watch the TV as well.
Even though my husband took some medicine, he could't sleep well the past night.
Now, he almost is between sleeping and waking.
Moreover, my son got the terrible cold from the retreat.
So after he came back to our house , he is very sick for two days.
He could't even go to a church.
I don't know that he is able to go to his school.
Now, he ate a little food barely.
I pity my son and my husband.
I hope that my family gets better as soon as possible.

Good Relationship

My nephew had a baby last night.
At least she became a mother.
My family saw a hamepage of the nephew.
We were surprised, and pleased.
However, my husband's older brother seems too old.
The older brother said that is because he misses my family so much.
In my country, we always depanded on him and we were together every saturday.
He especailly liked my son who also liked him .
Our relationship was very special.
Another family envied our relationship.
In class, I watched the movie with my classmates about a music.
While I watched the movie, I was thinking my longtime teacher.
So, now, I think that another person who was my music teacher in my country.
She always encouraged me in various ways.
She was very nice person, but she passed away.
I have met a lot of people in my life.
I think that the good relationship is very important between the people.

MY Lovely Son

My son, Daniel, went to the his church for lock-in, so Daniel is going to stay there with his friends.
Also, he is going to a retreat in his church for four days.
When my son go to somewhere for a few days, my husband and I don't talk to each other.
Our topic is about almost son's school life.
Now, I think Daniel is looking for his friends more than me.
I believe that Daniel is getting become an adult.
I am happy, on the other hand, I feel a little bit sad.
Most parents know how I feel.
He is decide anything by himself what he has to study and where he wants to go.
I am thankful to God that he gave to Daniel the wisdom and heath.
Also, I am accustomed to enjoing traveling with my son until now.
So I feel something lacking without him.
People feel the precious of the person more and more when we can't together with the person in love.

Thank God

In the afternoon, Jihoon called me that he got good marks in the competition.
I was worried that if he didn't get the good grade, he would be very disappointed.
Fortunately, he made a success of it, and he had the courege.
He had the piano contest in which was with many students.
I am so delighted as if I am a kid.
Also, I was picked my project up in LINCC , I had good time with my classmates.
I have the great honor.
This will always remain a pleasant memory for me.
My husband and my son were very surprised.
My son said that he can't believe me, but they were pleased with me.
I am really happy for two days.

4 Years

My family has been in United States for 4years.
4years already?
I've been busy for 4years. However, when I look through my life for the past 4years, I gained something,
but lost something too.
It was really hard getting used to American culture.
My husband is still having a hard time. Not only because of the culture, it's because he's a householder.
But slowly, he's getting used to the American culture.
Because my husband and I are so busy these days, we don't call our family in South Korea often anymore.
All of my family members in South Korea know that how we live in United States, so they understand.
Do all immigrants have a hard time like me?
I hope that every immigrants in United States lives their lives without having a hard time.

My father

I celebrated the anniversary of my father's death before a few days.
I prayed a bit.
I can't remember how many times.
I can remember only my father's death day.
My father was the most unique man I ever met.
I had never heard his loud voice.
He was a quite person, and smiled a bright smile.
He also had many talents, especailly he drew a lot of pictures.
However, he was a business man because my grandfather wanted him to be a great man.
My mother said father was very handsome, and generous.
Also, he was a gentle man.
So my mother liked father very much, my siblings, too.
Now, I miss my moher, and my siblings.

Time

Today is Thursday?
Nobody can refuse the time.
One week passed already, and the placement test is 3weeks away.
I really don't know how the time went by so quickly.
All the classmates were surprised because it feels like we didn't do anything, but class was over.
There are so many things to do, and there's a little time.
I'm upset because I feel like I'm learning something now.
I'm not good with English yet..
I want to have a fun summer time.
I think all my classmates are thinking the same thing.
I met some friends that passed ESL today.
They looked like they were having a hard time.
We talked for around 15minutes, and we seperated.
For tommorow...

Life

After the class, I saw my teacher in a exausted condition.
All my classmates were exausted also, but my teacher's condition was worse.
Deborah also looked like she was having a hard time.
I was going to sign up for the writing workshop. Then on the way there, I saw my teacher's room.
I looked into the room while I was walking, and I saw my teacher. It was sad.
When my son comes home after school, he looks exausted also.
He has a shadow under his eyes, he doesn't look like himself.
Moreover, my friend always says that life is very difficult for her with her husband.
She has one son and one daughter.
Her daughter goes to a private school, the money she has to pay for her college is very expansive.
Her son plays basketball, so she has to spend a lot of money on his basketball stuff.
The money, and her job is making her depressed, moreover, exausted.
I hope everyone gets better.

Sunday

It's about time, I made some food.
I couldn't make them because I was too busy every day.
I was so sorry my husband and son.
I said that there were some excuses, but my son didn't like to my excuses.
These days, I don't have enough time to watch the TV.
It's so fast the time of a day such as a bullet.
It's cloudy day, so older people of my church said that they are too tired.
Also, I didn't do an assignment, so I had to write about something.
It took so much time, I'm so tired right now.
Why do weather affect people?
It's very weird.
I hope tomorrow's going to be a sunny day.

Busy Day

I am teaching piano to some Korean kids these days.
One of them has a piano competition at a high school.
So I was teaching Jihoon, my student, the piano for a few hours.
Jihoon and I were tired from the hard training because of that competition.
He was eventually cried. At that moment, I was thinking about Ms. Alein.
My classmates say that Ms. Alein is very strict, but she is also a good teacher.
I agree with my classmates.

However, Jihoon knows why I train him very hard.
I encouraged him when I was leaving his house as if Ms. Alein does it.
I think that he might not try to do it again after he finish the competition.
I also have to take the placement test.
It's a goal of all students to take placement test.
Anyways, I was so busy today.
Today also was a happy day.

Skills

I'm having a very important time during the classes these days.
I like going to school. Everyday, I'm excited to learn new lessons.
Ms. Elein told me that I improved in writing skills. I was very happy when I heard that.
She told me that I have to go to the writing center.
I'm going to follow that advice and go to the writing center.
My son also said that I improved in things such as writing skills, reading skills, and speaking skills.
That's why it's so fun writing, but I spend too much time writing, and my son yells at me to get off the computer.
Even though I'm in the class learning for four hours, I feel like I'm learning for an hour.
I was having a hard time for a past year, but now I'm thankful everyday.

New Start

I went to a theater, so my family watched a movie.
The movie named 10.000 BC.
I didn't think that movie to interested, but the movie was very exciting.
The important thing was listening, but of course, I couldn't understand it perfectly.
And then I cut my hair shortly, so I felt better than last week.
However, I regret that I didn't concentrate on studying this week. The body didn't help me.
I'm nervous. I have to go back to school tomorrow.
I realized that studying in my classes meant special to me.
Even though it's hard, I'll study slowly and slowly to gain something that I want to gain.
Because there's no summer semester, I'm going to try to pass.
I miss my classmates.

The Spring

The weather of these days has become warmer, so it is good time for cleaning inside and outside.
This vacation gave me some rest ,so my sickness recoverd quickly.
My husband finally is started arllergy by the seasons.
Every year my husband feels pain by an allergy, especially he has a allergy coryza.
He is suffering severely for one month, so he can't even sleep at night.
I am so worried about my husband.
Also, my son strength was gone,so he has no appetite.
If spring come to my family, we prepare for the worst.
However, my family like the spring, especially my husband and I like to take a walk in the sunshine.
In addition, I want to see come into full bloom.
The sky has completely cleared up.
The spring is the season everything starts new in spring.

End of the Prayer Meeting

A prayer meeting of 40 days finished in my church for the Easter.
I was so tired in the prayer meeting.
I got sick because of many situations during these days.
However, I learned and experienced many things throughout these period of time.
I couldn't do anything because I was aching in every joint.
I woke up early in the morning every day, so I didn't late even one time.
Now, I think that it was good time for me for 40 days.
Even though I was too tired, I could pray for many things.
I didn't pray, I always only just thought about everything.
I don't remember what I studied , so I have to study again.
As the seasons change that I get bad headache.
My family has some allergies, especially my husband has too severe allergy.
He has to get acupuncture every year for many times.
I think that I got allergy,too.
I wish spring goes by quickly.

Sickness

I eventually got sick today.
Easter Day left a few days, and I got sick.
Going to church in the morning, also going at night was making me really tired.
I have a huge fever.
I promised to myself that I'll never be absent this semester.
Also, because of the parking ticket, I had to go to a court. It was a really hard day for me.
That was the first time I went to the court in United States.
I almost got a heart attack in the court.
Everyone was scared.
It felt like I'm going to jail.
While my son was talking to the lawyer, I felt like I was going to feint.
My son went to the court for the first time too, so he had a hard time also.
Why did it rain so much today?
I ate nothing today, I didn't feel like eating.
I really felt sorry for my husband also, but god helped me.
At least I was dismissed.
It finished with happy ending. I'm really happy.

I Love My Family

My husband is too sick because he is worried about our lives these days.
When he is sick, he can't get up in his bed.
I'm grieved with my son.
Currently, my son enjoys studying more than before.
He used to say that he'll be successful positively in the U.S. because there is one of the reasons.
One reason is that he wants to live very well with my husband and me in the future.
He also pray for his father and me every day, but he dosen't to want return to our country.
It is because he is adapted in here work hard.
We agree with him.
He is our pleasure and comfort.
My husband also is very sincere person.
I have been living with my husband since 1990.
I've never seen him being lazy.
However, I know that God'll help us some day.
Also, God'll help my son's dream.
I expect my family'll get a happiness in here.

My Good Neighbor

I live with good neighbor who are the Korean.
When my family came the U.S., we didn't know where to go.
My friend introduced my family to neighbor.
They are very friendly, and very comfortable.
My family live in this house with them since then.
We are one of the few Koreans in Levittown.
My neighbor has a family that a grand mother, a wife and a husband, and two kids.
The grand mother is very kind, and generous.
She always tells me a lot of stories.
The older son is a college student, and young son is a middle school student.
They are very smart, also, they have pure hearts.
My family is getting help from my neighbor many things, so I'm thankfull to my neighbor.

My First Blog!

This is my first blog, I had a very hard time creating my blog.
I don't use my computer very often, and it was really hard for me!
I was kind of nervous, but now, I'm carefree because I finally finished making my blog.
I went bowling with my family today.
My son improved a lot. He scored 110! I can't believe it. He used to score below 50.
My husband was not as good as before because he didn't bowl for a long time. I think it's about an year.
From now on, my son and my husband will go bowling once a week!
I can't wait to see my son and my husband improve in their bowling skills.
